August greets us at Lammas, a pivotal point in the Wheel of the Year, celebrated as one of the Feasts of the Times in Liber AL vel Legis II:36. Marked by the harvest festival, Lammas, also known as Lughnasadh, symbolises the first fruits of labor and sacrifice.
As summer reaches its zenith and begins to fade here in the Northern Hemisphere, Lammas becomes a threshold, a liminal gateway between growth and decline, abundance and relinquishment. It is a time to pause and reflect on what we have sown and what we now reap, spiritually and materially.
In the cycle of Tarot guiding our journey through 2025 e.v., this month is governed by The Universe, a card pulsating with potent energies of culmination and transcendence.
